2013-2014 NAHS induction ceremony keynote speaker
"When I start drawing, I start with a concept and make multiple rough sketches. I use the sketches to play with different arrangements of the composition. I like to use ink because it's bold and permanent. I like how there is no erasing, and no turning back from a line drawn in ink When mistakes are made I adapt the design to incorporate the accident which causes the drawing to evolve. I remember when I was in high school I would obsess over making the image look exactly as I saw it in my mind, as I matured I learned to let the artwork go and let it take on a life of it's own"
Support a ReModel program has equiped the BHS Art room with 6 new mannequins. The goal is to have pairs of mannequins in different sizes - one for working on and one for display.
